The Directorate of Welfare of Scheduled Castes & Backward Classes is implementing a number of some socio-economic schemes for welfare of Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes people. The Directorate facilitates as a mediator of the requirements of the people belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Other Backward Classes to the Govt. and simultaneously delivers/ implements any such grants sanctioned by the Govt. with the help of its various Sub-divisional Welfare Offices (SDWOs).
