The Directorate of Welfare of Scheduled Castes is implementing a number of some socio-economic schemes for welfare of Scheduled Castes people. The Directorate facilitates as a mediator of the requirements of the people belonging to the Scheduled Castes to the Govt. and simultaneously delivers/ implements any such grants sanctioned by the Govt. with the help of its various Sub-divisional Welfare Offices (SDWOs).
